Since autumn 2012 to the end of 2013 ENVIA has been providing logistical support for hydrological monitoring carried out by Nortek B.V. (http://www.nortek-bv.nl/nl?set_language=nl) from Netherlands. Research took place on the area of future Offshore Wind Farms on the Baltic Sea.

Our specialists prepared measurement buoy and integrated it with measuring systems provided by Nortek B.V. The systems included 2 AWAC 600 KHz current profilers with instrumentation. The buoy was equipped with power supply system, devices providing communication with inland monitoring center and navigation devices.
ENVIA has also provided vessels to mount the buoy on designated location and have been performing service cruises to maintain proper working of measurement and communication systems. Moreover, to confirm correct operation of system, satellite transmission was provided by Iridium modem installed on the buoy.
