3rd Hydrographic Workshop

The 3rd edition of the Annual Hydrographic Workshop will take place in Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia Redłowo on the 4th – 5th of March 2009. The leading topic of current edition is “Appliance of the multibeam echosounder beyond bathymetric surveys”. The newest technologies regarding topic of multibeam echosounder and software for bathymetric data interpretation will be presented as every year.

Envia is a dynamic developing enterprise, active at the field of biological investigations of sea and inland waters. Since 1998, when the enterprise was established, it has been developing its experience in providing assessments of the state of aquatic environment and biocenoses as well as elaboration of systems of protection and methods of restoration of coastal sea areas and inland waters. Our considerable expertise allows us to be active in other fields of hydrographical, oceanographical, geophysical research. We also provide research equipments for advance sea and inland water research.

We maintain our position at Polish market of environment research basing on our experienced team as well as on innovative technological and methodological solutions we apply. In the field of implementation of innovative technologies we closely collaborate with experienced Western partners.

Envia also leads its own research and development projects aimed to implement innovative solutions in constructing artificial reefs using Reef Ball technology, constructing search mini ROVs and other facilities used for seabed research as well as creation of digital models of seabed.

We are located in a prestigious Pomeranian Science and Technology Park (Pomorski Park Naukowo Tachnologiczny) in Gdynia that gathers most innovative small enterprises from Northern Poland.
